Hi, I'm Jeanna
I am from Jasper County but my roots run deep in Benton County
I was raised in neighboring Jasper County. However, my ties to Benton County run deep. My grandfather, Lawrence Pitstick, grew up in Dunnington and my grandmother, Florence Funk Weller, grew up in Earl Park.
Experience & Qualifications:
Chief Deputy Prosecutor,
Benton County (2011-2022):
Handled homicides, sexual assaults, crimes against children, burglaries and other property offenses, drug offenses, and operating while intoxicated offenses.
Private Practice (2022-2024):
Gained broader perspective on effective strategies for handling and prosecuting cases across multiple counties. Ultimately, I realized that my passion lies in public service, which led me to the White County Prosecutor’s Office.
Chief Deputy Prosecutor,
White County (2024-present):
Prosecuted thousands of cases, including multiple murder cases, child exploitation, and major drug trafficking cases; worked closely with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, including the FBI and ATF.

Selected for Top Gun Training at Camp Atterbury for high-level drug prosecution.

Completed advanced jury selection training through Indiana Prosecuting Attorneys Council, which was only offered to experienced prosecutors with significant trial experience.
